Farran Investments is a private, employee-owned company specialising in UK commercial real estate.

Our team has consistently delivered return outperformance, having acquired, funded, managed and exited some £5 billion of commercial real estate assets across multiple cycles, sub-sectors and ownership structures.

Our experience covers a wide range of transactions, including development, forward funding, sale and leasebacks, joint ventures, large portfolios, public M&A, complex debt, equity and mezzanine financings and value-add asset management strategies.

GoldenTree Asset Management LP

Farran Investments advised GoldenTree Asset Management LP (“GoldenTree”) on the acquisition of the entire investment property portfolio of abrdn Property Income Trust Limited (“API”) in November 2024.

Real Estate Acquisition

The transaction comprised the acquisition of 39 commercial real estate assets for a cash consideration of £351 million.

Farran Investments is a minority co-investor in the acquisition vehicle and is the asset manager to the portfolio.

Meet The Team

Farran Investments was founded and is managed by Simon Lee, Freddie Brooks, Rob Ward and John White.

Prior to setting up Farran Investments in 2024, the team co-founded and ran LXI REIT plc, a FTSE 250 real estate investment trust operating in 12 subsectors with over 80 different tenants across 350 properties. LXi REIT plc was bought by LondonMetric plc in March 2024 for £1.9 billion. Simon and John also co-founded and ran Osprey Equity Partners, which managed and exited over 20 private real estate funds.
